Updates to the format and timing of these events, because of the change to an e-Congress, will be posted soon. We hope to retain the scope of the original, but in a format that works for all time zones.
This workshop is a series of four presentations by experienced noise and vibration control engineers describing noise control case studies and their experiences solving noise control problems. As an example, the agenda for the 2019 School in Madrid is posted on the I-INCE Young Professionals webpage. The 2020 School in Seoul will feature different topics and speakers. The Agenda for the 2020 School will be posted when finalized closer to the Congress.
Young Professional Grant Awardees are invited to participate and other students can express interest in attending when they register for the Congress. Depending on space, some of those expressing interest in attending may be invited to attend.
The goals of the Young Professional Practice School are to provide mentorship via case studies and professional issues presented by world-renowned experts and to hold informal discussions between young professionals and I-INCE leaders and senior noise control engineers. Once the winners of the Young Professionals Grant have been determined, all of the participants are invited to this Workshop to gain valuable contacts and view presentations by noise control professionals. Depending on space, the invitation is also extended to most students who register for the Congress.
There are networking opportunities for Young Professionals after the workshop. I-INCE leaders and guests will attend this event.
